01 About these terms

KB 3D Print is a 3D-printing service operating in Mumbai, India. We provide an in-browser tool that estimates the price of printing a model you upload, and a way to place an order with us via WhatsApp.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service. We may ask you to confirm acceptance again if these terms change materially.

02 The service & estimates

When you upload an STL file, your browser calculates the model's volume and surface area to generate an estimate of weight, print time and price. This estimate is provided for guidance only.

• Estimates are typically accurate to within ±15% but may vary based on slicing settings, orientation, supports and print outcome.
• The figure shown in the tool is not a binding quote. We confirm the final price after slicing your model, and you approve it before we print.
• Pricing inputs (filament, electricity, packaging and service charges) may change from time to time without notice.

03 Your files & responsibilities

By uploading a file and placing an order, you confirm that:

• You own the model or otherwise have the right to have it printed, and doing so does not infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
• The file is a valid, printable STL and accurately represents what you want produced. We are not responsible for errors in your model (wall thickness, scale, manifold geometry, etc.).
• The contact and delivery details you provide are accurate and current.

We reserve the right to decline any file or order at our discretion.

04 Orders, pricing & payment

Placing an order sends your details and file to us via WhatsApp and, where enabled, our internal order system. An order is only confirmed once we have reviewed your model and you have approved the final price and timeline.

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise.
• Payment terms (advance, on delivery, or as agreed) are confirmed with you at the time of order.
• We may require full or partial payment before beginning a print, particularly for large or custom jobs.

05 Printing & delivery

We currently print and deliver within Mumbai only. Turnaround time depends on the size, quality and our current queue, and is confirmed when we accept your order.

• Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control.
• 3D printing is a physical process — minor layer lines, small cosmetic variations and tolerances of roughly ±0.5 mm are normal and not considered defects.
• Colours shown on screen are indicative; actual filament colour may differ slightly.

06 Cancellations, refunds & remakes

• You may cancel before printing begins for a full refund of any amount paid. Once a print has started, the job is non-refundable as it is custom-made to your file.
• If an item arrives with a genuine printing fault on our part, let us know within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll remake or refund it at our discretion.
• We are not responsible for issues caused by flaws in your supplied model or incorrect specifications.

07 Intellectual property & prohibited items

You retain ownership of your own models. You grant us a limited right to use your file solely to prepare and produce your order.

We will not knowingly print items that:

• infringe a third party's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• are weapons, weapon components, or are otherwise illegal under Indian law;
• are dangerous, hateful, or intended to deceive or harm.

08 Liability

The service and any printed items are provided on a reasonable-effort basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the suitability of a printed part for any particular purpose — PLA prints are decorative and light-use by nature unless otherwise agreed.

09 Changes & contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the service means you accept the latest terms.
